The four enhancement tools
Camisual has four layers of enhancement. Manual Adjustments let you control brightness, contrast, saturation, and more with sliders. Auto Enhance applies a single-click AI improvement. AI Upscale increases the resolution by 2x or 4x using machine learning. Super Resolution takes this further for print-quality output.
Step-by-step: Enhance an image in Camisual
- 1
Upload your image
Sign in and open a design, or create a new one. Click "Add" in the top menu, then "Upload Image". Your photo appears on the canvas.
- 2
Open the Image Editor
Click the image on the canvas to select it. In the left panel, find the "Images" section and click the "Edit Image" button to open the Image Editor.
- 3
Start with Auto Enhance
In the Image Editor, make sure the "Adjust" tab is selected. At the top of the Adjust panel you will see an "Auto Enhance" button. Click it. The AI will analyse your image and apply an optimal balance of brightness, contrast, and colour correction instantly.
- 4
Fine-tune with manual sliders
Below Auto Enhance you will find manual sliders for Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Vibrance, Tint, Highlights, Shadows, Sharpness, and Noise Reduction. Drag each slider left or right to taste. Changes are shown live in the preview.
- 5
Apply a filter (optional)
Click the "Filters" tab in the Image Editor toolbar. A grid of filter presets will appear. Click any filter to preview it. Click again to apply, or click "No Filter" to go back to your manual adjustments.
- 6
Upscale the resolution
If your image is low resolution, click the "Upscale" tab in the Image Editor toolbar. Choose your upscale factor (2x or 4x). Click "Upscale Image". The AI will increase the resolution while trying to preserve sharpness and detail.
- 7
Apply Super Resolution for the highest quality
For the best possible output quality, click the "Super Res" tab. This runs a more advanced AI model that reconstructs fine detail. It takes longer than basic upscaling but produces significantly sharper results, especially for faces and textures.
- 8
Apply and export
When you are happy with the result, click "Apply" to update the image on your canvas. Then click "File" and "Export" to download the enhanced image.
When to use each tool
Auto Enhance is the fastest starting point for almost any photo. Use manual sliders when you need precise control, for example correcting the skin tone in a portrait or boosting vibrancy for a product shot. Use Upscale when you have a small image that needs to be used at a larger size. Super Resolution is best for critical print work or when you need the sharpest possible output.
You can combine enhancement with background removal. Enhance the image first under the Adjust tab, then switch to the BG tab to remove the background. Both changes stack and are applied together when you click Apply.
